This Privacy Policy explains what information USACallerLookup.com (“we”, “our”, “the Site”) collects when you use the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed the Site to work with as little personal information as possible.
Information We Collect
- Phone number searches. When you search a number, we log the number searched and the time of the search. This powers features like “Recently Searched Numbers.” Searches are not linked to your identity.
- Community reports. If you submit a report about a number, we store the report text, the optional name you provide, the call-type tag you choose, and your IP address (used only for spam prevention and rate limiting).
- Contact and removal forms. If you use our Contact or Remove My Number forms, we receive the details you submit (typically your email address and your message) and use them only to respond to your request.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our server records standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not require accounts, do not ask for your name or payment details, and do not publish any personal information about the owners of phone numbers. Our number pages display carrier-level directory data from public telecommunications numbering records only.
Cookies & Analytics
The Site may use basic cookies required for site functionality (for example, remembering that you submitted a form). If we enable analytics, it will be used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful, not to identify individual visitors. We do not sell visitor data to anyone.
Third-Party Links
Number pages include links to independent background-check services. If you click one, that service’s own privacy policy applies to anything you do there. We may earn a commission on purchases made through those links (see our Affiliate Disclosure), but we do not share your information with those services, you arrive there as a normal visitor.
Data Retention & Removal
Search logs and reports are retained to keep the community features useful. If a report about your phone number is inaccurate or unfair, you can request its removal through the Remove My Number page. We aim to process requests within 7 days. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because we collect so little, most requests are simple, contact us and we’ll help.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
